“Went through the ganymede and titan website and was rather gutted at the fair amount of negative (some outright hostile) comments on him, it's all to easy to get nasty behind the window of anonymity that the @net gives these days :(” - Steven Gill

Not bad for your first thread.

I always assume the people who read are the people who post. More and more people come out of the woodwork during New red Dwarf Announcements, we had similar behaviour during BTE. Tis nice.

Welcome, buddy. Remember the rules:

1) Never feed it after Midnight (seriously, when the hell is it ever NOT after Midnight??!!)
2) Always put extra plutonium in the boot, (one pellet, one trip).
3) For God’s Sake, at least put toilet paper on the floor if you miss the bowl. This applies to men and women, we are an equal opportunities website. Or Alternatively…
4) Use the Three Seashells

2 years? I wondered what that smell was. I guess I owe Cappsy an apology.

Look, I already apologised for that mishap. Enough of the ‘subtle’ digs.

Cheers for all the welcomes people!
Recently been rewatching Dwarf from the start. Fuck me, there’s a massive change I’ve never really noticed tonally between Series 2 and 3. Can’t say it’s AS good Character wise. Still has me laughing so can’t really complain!

Marooned I’d have up there with Thanks for the Memory, character-quality-wise.

While I haven’t got to it yet on my rewatch, Marooned has always been a favourite, and yeah, it definetely, definetely is up there. What I’d do for a Lister-Rimmer episode in the New Series like that or Thanks For The Memory.
The Chilli Chutney Sandwich moment in Thanks For The Memory is one of the best moments in anything ever.

I once watched ‘Thanks for the Memory’ when horrifically drunk. I didn’t realise that Rimmer was similarly intoxicated - he was making far too much sense…

Welcome, 119!! (That’s a tenuous reference at best; wonder if anyone will bother to work it out.)

Me too! - It made enough sense to me that I made and ate the sandwich, which is delicious, particularly as a hangover cure.

I was thinking it might be a element joke, but that’s Ununnilium which is 110. So let’s just forget I spoke huh?

Got it in one, despite my late night typo. (:

That’s something that I’ve discussed doing on many an occasion in the pub, but never got round to.

EDIT: Oh, and welcome I suppose.
