I did a blog

As no one has responded to this yet, I’ll just pipe up to say it looks quite good so far. You might consider telling your readers a little about yourself and your perspective on a bio page, just some kind of personalization to differentiate yours from the other film blogs out there.

Thanks for the input. I’ll give that ago tomorrow. Any thought’s on the logo? I wasn’t sure if it was too difficult to read.

Looks good, clean, easy to navigate. But for the love of God, change the title font!

I’d say go for something a bit more, well, original instead of copying fonts and designs from other movies.

Isn’t the point that he’s referencing those movies deliberately, though? Since it’s a… movie blog?

I think the idea’s good, though you’ll want to keep a few different ones in rotation for it to really work…

Nice, but I’d make the intro to each entry a bit more detailed. The homepage is very sparse and one line of text isn’t going to invite me to click for more.

I find the title a bit, well, desperate really.

The Matrix font is a little unreadable, but I agree that rotating several styles will probably work well.

My original idea was to have a random version of the logo appear each time the page was loaded (guess where I got the idea) but it doesn’t seem I can do that with the free wordpress blogs.

I don’t know if they’ve just recently added this or if the option has been in front of my stupid face this entire time but it seems I can randomise the header.

I’;d recommend making the logo smaller. You don’t want it to dominate the page.

It wouldn’t allow me to use the image I posted before because it has to be 930 x 198. I now have 4 randomising headers though.

I look Mabel’s advice and created an ‘About’ page. I’ve also got 7 different logo’s that randomise on each page load.
